Avion Services Corp. (Avion) has a vision to provide an experience of value, while continuing to ensure we have both the technological expertise and entrepreneurial energy required to position ourselves at the head of Security, Parking, and Retail. Avion currently provides a variety of services throughout Manitoba and Saskatchewan. These services include security and parking ventures as well as retail services such as The UPS Store and training and development including online security guard training, CPR/First Aid and customer service development.
With over 300 employees and growing by the day, we pride ourselves on building long lasting, trusting relationships with our customers and the community at large, while providing a range of training for staff to be sure they are capable of delivering the expectations placed upon them. Avion recruits staff with customer services qualities such as, a professional engaging behavior, patience and positive responsiveness. Our recruiting process begins with a screening procedure to be sure all applicants have a minimum of a grade 12 education or equivalent and previous experience working with the public.
Our current capabilities in security operations include but are not limited to Security audits and reviewing with recognized industry regulators Mobile patrol and CCTV surveillance Project security escorting Security personnel for general and specialized projects Physical and electronic security consulting
Avion currently provides security services to the Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport, City of Winnipeg Millenium Library, Bison Transport and the Regina Safeway Loss Prevention Program. We have the ability to offer a wide variety of positions for security staff ranging from access control verification to operation of mobile explosive vapor detection equipment. This diverse range allows security staff at Avion the chance to learn an assortment of new skills and provide an opportunity for advancement.
Operating from our corporate offices at the Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport, we continue to grow our business, offering airport tested security services to the community at large. Our staff of 300 employees work in such diverse locations as International Airports, Water Treatment Facilities, Golf Courses, Construction Projects, National Parks and a 24-hour Mobile Patrol Unit.
